Nostalgia hits me with a sudden gush.
Am I truly leaving this place?
This place that became home.
Where new friends gathered.
Where my daughter settled and my son was born.
The sweet sunshine and fresh green air.
The down-to-earthness of this dreamy place.
You’ll always hold a special place in my heart.
Deep down I know I’ll yearn for more time.
In this enchanted valley in the bay area.
